When was the last time you were silly? Although you might feel like you let your hair down all the time, the fact of the matter is that most adults forget how to really relax and have fun. Fortunately, you can get to know your inner kid again by participating in the visual arts. A few months ago, I took an improvisation class from my local college, and it was absolutely incredible. In addition to meeting other people and having a few good laughs, I found the process incredibly relaxing. I learned how to enjoy the awkwardness of new situations, which was invigorating.
